This introduction class to willow basketry will cover all the basics of round work. We’ll discuss growing, harvesting and preparing the willow as well. Those with more experience can take on more advanced projects, just email me to discuss.

Hembrow School of Traditional Willow Basketry
Norwich, NY
In 2026 I will be a guest instructor at the Hembrow School of Traditional Willow Basketry, run by Bonnie Gale. This is a 9-session, full scope program. I will be guest teaching a Rib/Frame class in the spring, and students will attend a field trip to see me at Willowbrook Farm to plant some willow, and learn all the facets of growing their own materials.
